What is Cohousing? Discover a More Connected & Sustainable Life

July 11, 2020. 10am - 12pm. FREE Online Workshop

Do you dream of a more connected and sustainable life? Looking for a place to raise kids, where they can play inside or out without a worry?

Cohousing is a community of private homes clustered around shared space, with a sustainable and people-oriented design. It combines the advantages of private homes with the benefits of more sustainable and supportive living, including shared common facilities and spontaneous connections with neighbours.

The social, environmental and financial benefits to residents, especially families, are extensive. Do you want to reduce your day-to-day footprint? Do you value your privacy but still want a sense of belonging?

Join us for a virtual Cohousing 101 to learn more! We’ll cover cohousing basics, share some ideas of why it might be the right choice for your family, and give a brief intro to Mosaic Village Cohousing. There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. This event is family-friendly – don’t worry about kids popping in and out! 🙂

Mosaic Village has a wonderful group of neighbours from age 3 to mid-70’s that are excited to live in a thriving, caring, diverse multigenerational community. We are well on our way to building Calgary’s second cohousing community in beautiful Bowness, with half of the homes spoken for. Maybe you are one of our future neighbours?!

“Through cohousing, we can build a better place to live, a place where we know our neighbours, a place where we can enjoy a rich sense of community and contribute to a more sustainable world.”
